YOUR GROUNDS. YOUR NATURE

There’s no better place to discover a new you. Our wellness retreat is based in the heart of rural Cambridgeshire in the secluded private grounds of the 72-acre Hemingford estate. Teaming with history, this quintessentially English location is the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life.

HISTORIC VILLAGE

Located in Hemingford Abbots, just 50 minutes from London, the area is famed for its natural beauty and having once been the home to General Oliver Cromwell. Nearby attractions include the National Trust property of Houghton Mill and the peaceful River Ouse.

HEMINGFORD PARK HALL

These fine Grade II* listed buildings were designed by Decimus Burton who is widely regarded as one of Britain’s leading architects of the Victorian era.

COACH HOUSE AND VICTORIAN STABLE BLOCK

The classical, finely proportioned coach house and stable block were designed to accommodate a single carriage, two horses and a groom or driver living above. At some point before 1920, the coach house was doubled in size and a new stable block added for symmetry. This is where you will find the gym and spin studio and the upper-floor groom and driver’s flat is now a communal dining and seminar area.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

On a sunny day the solar power plant at Hemingford Park provides enough energy to power all of the needs on the estate plus it exports enough to provide electricity to a further ten homes.

The log burners and wood fires contained in some of the cottages and the main house are solely fuelled by trees that have fallen naturally around the estate.  When new trees are planted to replace these, they capture the carbon from the burning of the wood of the old trees as they grow.
