The structure of the Workhouse retreat gives you a routine that pushes you out of your fitness comfort zone and encourages you to challenge yourself.

 

The bespoke rig grounds give you a full body workout that is unlike any other fitness experience.

 

We will get to know your personal fitness goals and ensure that each exercise routine is focused on your needs.  Don’t worry: even if you’re not fit at all we’ll tailor your activities to your own needs.

During this retreat, you’ll realise that we take a unique and personal approach to fitness, and want to ensure that each activity is helping you to feel empowered towards reaching your goal.

 

Exercise increases your overall health and sense of well-being and it will put more pep in your step every day.

Progressive fitness

At the Workhouse our retreat is focused around the philosophy of progressive fitness; we believe in making exercise fun, inclusive and empowering. There will be challenges, and you will definitely feel that you've worked out, but it will also make you feel supported and encouraged. Fitness sessions are tailored to the individual, which means you will encounter a complete range of training styles from body weight, HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training), to resistance, strength and endurance based training. With our experienced personal trainer on hand throughout the session, you will get the coaching and support you need to push those limits and transform your mind and body.

Strength & endurance

There's never a dull day at the Workhouse! Our programme has been developed to remove the monotony of everyday gym sessions. We ensure that each session is different by using an array of state-of-the-art equipment, including a bespoke outdoor rig. With a group of you all on a journey to improve your health and fitness, you will find like-minded people by your side who will give you encouragement and support. Your fitness programme isn't about strict pressure, but about making exercise fun, and empowering. On a Workhouse retreat, you will get fitter and feel more positive each day.
