What do we offer?

Here are some of the things you can expect from us during your stay at the Workhouse.

 

Fitness

Throughout your week long stay with us you will have the opportunity to experience a range of different workouts to build your strength, endurance and overall fitness levels. On your first day at the Workhouse you will undertake a fitness assessment so that we can tailor a bespoke plan to your level of fitness. Our fitness retreat promises to be fun as well as challenging to get you on the road to reaching your goals.

 

Mentor

Our highly qualified Mentor will be working with you for the duration of your stay here at the Workhouse. From your morning warm up to your evening group seminar, our Mentor will be motivating and educating you on all things health and fitness. Our aim is to educate you throughout the week on health and nutrition to ensure that when you leave our fitness retreat, you will be equipped with enough knowledge to continue your healthy journey back at home.

 

Bootcamp

Throughout your stay with us you will undertake a varied, progressive training structure developed by our highly skilled Mentor. You will have access to our exclusive rig in which you will carry out an individual session that will be varied for each participant. You will encounter a complete range of training styles from body weight HIIT to resistance/strength and endurance-based training.

 

Assault Course

We want to keep your stay here at the Workhouse unique and fun therefore include a daily session on our specially designed assault course. Set on the private grounds of a beautiful country house estate, it is a great opportunity to get out in the fresh air. Improving your strength, stamina and fitness levels this assault course will be a highlight of your day!

 

Spinning

Our spin sessions are the perfect blend of high intensity cardio, muscle toning and mental strength work. Combining speed work with power, you’ll work your entire body – and have fun in the process.

 

Yoga

Relax and unwind in our bespoke yoga studio. With floor to ceiling windows, gaze out into the beautiful countryside as you take time to let go of stress and tension. Our very own yoga teacher will take you through a daily yoga practice that will help to reset the mind and the body in preparation for the rest of your luxury fitness retreat.

 

State of the Art Gym

You will have access to our state of the art of gym facility which can be used in your personal time or you can choose to book a private session with the on site Mentor. Throughout the week you will spend time in the gym working on strength and resistance based movements.

 

Accommodation

During your stay with us we want you to feel fully relaxed and pampered when you finish at the bootcamp. Whether travelling alone or with friends, we have the perfect accommodation for you.  You can choose to stay in either our Grade II listed lodge or one of our recently renovated courtyard cottages.

 

Park Lodge

 

Gaze out across the beautiful lake from the living room of our inviting and stylish Grade II listed lodge. This is the largest accommodation we offer with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for a spacious stay for one or two people or for friends visiting our luxury fitness retreat together. With a generous sized living area, enjoy a cosy night by the fire as our on site chef prepares your evening meal.

 

 

Oscar’s Cottage 

The recently refurbished Oscar’s cottage has been smartly restyled to add class and comfort to your stay. Comprising of 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a modern fitted kitchen and spacious living area, you can be sure to relax and unwind after a busy, exhilarating day at our luxury fitness retreat.

 

 

Henry’s Cottage

This beautiful courtyard cottage overlooking the beautiful Grade II listed Hemingford Hall boasts of graceful decor and stylish interior. Comprising of 2 double bedrooms, a modern bathroom and cosy living area this cottage offers the best respite from the hard work of the day.

 

 

Food & Nutrition

Each day during your stay we will provide you with three, top-quality, balanced and nutritious meals. These will be freshly prepared on-site by our specialist chef. We’ll also provide some planned healthy snacks to give your body all the necessary nutrients for its workload. During the week you will have the opportunity to attend daily seminars that aim to educate you about health and nutrition. You will leave the week with a bespoke nutrition plan that you can follow at home.
